General Questions

Smile Correct Club aligners can help you get the smile of your dreams from the convenience of your home, without costly and inconvenient trips to a dentist.

Plus, the clear aligner treatment is typically quicker and more affordable than treatment with traditional braces.

Invisible aligners are completely clear plastic moulds, custom made to fit your teeth. They gradually shift your teeth so that they’re eventually straight and your smile looks great by the end.

Based on the impressions you take at home, a custom treatment plan is created just for you. You get a set of custom invisible aligners that moves your teeth safely, a little at a time. After you wear each aligner for the suggested time (usually one week), you progress to the next step until you achieve your new, confident smile.

Our cutting edge aligners are smooth and durable, but don’t be fooled by the good looks…we’ve designed our aligners to fit into your day to day life.

Our invisible aligners are made of a highly transparent, medical-grade material that can withstand high impacts, be tear resistant and keep your teeth in line while keeping you comfortable.

Yes, our aligners are custom-made for each patient, ensuring a perfect fit and maximum effectiveness. Our clear aligners are also designed to be worn for a shorter period of time than traditional braces, which means that you'll see results faster.

Smile Correct Club is designed to work for minor to moderate alignment issues, including correcting spacing, crowding between teeth and rotation.

Your at-home impressions will be used to determine if you’re a good candidate for Smile Correct Club aligners.

Our aligners can be used to treat people aged 18 and up.

Yes. they can. Crowding occurs when your teeth overlap due to insufficient jaw space.

It’s a very common issue that researchers say may be due to years of evolution and environmental change as our food became softer.

We recommend getting started with an impression kit so that your clinical team can assess the severity of crowding and create the best treatment option for you.

Yes! Spacing is when gaps exist between teeth. This can occur due to genetics, such as having smaller teeth, or due to behavioural habits, such as mouth breathing.

Because spacing can differ from person to person, sending us your impressions is the best way to get a custom treatment plan prescribed for your unique smile.

There is a limitation to how much any clear aligners, by themselves, can move the teeth. Our aligners can’t fully correct an overbite, underbite, or an open bite, which would require either traditional braces, attachments, rubber bands, expanders, and in some cases, jaw surgery.

Our aligners may in some cases be able to lessen the appearance of an overbite, however, through better alignment of incisors and canine teeth.

Get started with an impression kit so your clinical team can provide the best treatment option for you!

Your dental midline is the line between your two upper front teeth and your two lower front teeth. This line does not always align due to differences in tooth size, missing teeth, or chewing only on one side of your mouth.

Aligners cannot correct a midline, but can improve the appearance through better alignment. Get your impression kit today and see what your midline could look like with our 3D model of your smile!

Yes, our aligners can move veneers and crowns as long as they are not on your molars.

It’s possible, but the best way to find out for sure is to send in your impressions.
